Why learn online?
You manage your learning – deciding when and how often you study and the pace at which you learn. Each Code Skills learning programme is broken down into bite-size modules to help you do this – click on What will I learn? (link) and Module demo (link) to look at the skills you will develop and to try a sample module

You can practice and repeat learning tasks to ensure you fully develop your desktop skills

You can use our learning programmes as an easy-to-access source of information – you might log in for just five minutes to remind yourself of a particular skill for example.

You choose where you want to study – at home, a public library, an internet café, your workplace or wherever

You develop your skills using the real desktop software such as Word or Excel

And, if you choose to gain the BTEC Award in IT at the end of your programme, you can take your test online as well!
